Hope it's interesting, it was fun. Ran a rare 10" Ruger Mark II, the longest Ruger automatic, beside Canada's shortest Ruger automatic, the slim 4.75" barrel.

Thanks for the info. Another good data point showing that standard and regular "high velocity" .22LR doesn't suffer much at all in short barrels.

Yep, it does extremely well, even more surprising is I've been testing the .22 Short in a 4.25" barrel on a non-restricted Beretta 950 Jetfire- it screams! 1,000fps with standard fodder. That tiny little case is extremely efficient. I should have summarized the write up better, and posted more photos of the penetration etc. Will add those down the road. It was a lot of work and I just wanted to get it posted.
