1) Does the EOHC have day passes, where a years membership is not required? I don't really care about taking the course- I'll take it if I have too...

2) For anyone who lives around Cornwall, Ontario, or in; I heard someone say that there's a shooting range at the Armoury? I've checked online- can't find anything, and I've called there- no one seems to answer.

3)Again, for anyone in Cornwall, Ontario, or even St. Andrews West (just outside of Cornwall); I know Cornwall has a discharge bylaw- but does St. Andrews? The reason I ask- my grandmother owns a good deal of land in her backyard, and I was wondering, (with her consent of course) if the discharge of firearms would be allowable?

Any hints/tips/ suggestions? I'm all ears...

1: EOHC does not offer a day pass. You can go as an invited guest of a current member. If you have a valid ATT to all Ranges in Ontario you could then bring your restricted (if you have the) with you. Otherwise you are limited to Non-restricted. If you wish to become a member all the information is on their website. ( www.eohc.ca) .

2: http://cornwallhandgunclub.com/ should have everything you are looking for.

3: You would hav to check the towns bylaws.

Thanks for the information on the EOHC. I don't think I'll become a member there, just because of the lengthy drive just to get there.

As for the Cornwall Handgun Club- I'll keep it in mind for when I get my restricted, because they do not allow long guns at their range. (I even went to several of their general meetings about a year ago to have that changed, but they seem so close minded.)
