My SKS stock came with the Sling mount on the side of the stock. Is this common? I see a lot of stocks on CGN with the mount on the bottom.

you got early chinese , those are much nicer than later chinese/norinco.

The Russian SKS are so very nice. I soooo regret selling my Russia Tula SKS. It was a beauty and I let it go for nothing practically. I resolved never to sell a gun again. I was such a dumb@ss!

We have all had rifles we have regretted selling at one time, I hate to think of a couple I sold off and wish I had back. I sold off a couple Chinese SKS's I had, but did keep my nice Russian. If my local store gets some of the Rusky's that are coming in, I will probably pick up another

not quite , i own a rusky for the past couple of years and its not as pretty as those but im hopeful my new purchase will be just as nice .
