Got a chance to handle one at FOC today...quite an interesting concept. Based on the comments here, i was expecting it to be lighter but it is still well balanced. I like the folding stock...the placement of the break action under the trigger guard i am not so sure about. I am very curious to shoot one.

Cool rifle! I to am curious about the Troy PAR & would like to see one at the range so I could try it!

Cheers

Cool little rifle, I opt for Try PAR in 308, a tad heavy but very manageable than M14 platform, I might pick the 223 up next up, really like it so far especially with Trigger Tech straight drop in trigger kit.

Jay, If you happen to drop by St-jean, I will sure can bring one to the range for you to try out after that then having Sushi at my place.

I'm assuming you mean action lock/release. A "break action" is a completely different thing.

I haven't shot my .308 PAR yet but I have cycled it with snap caps a bunch to break it in. It was surprisingly tight/stiff when it arrived. It has loosened up nicely now. Cant wait for the weather to turn nice so I can get it out.
