Just got back from the range:
Tried some handloads out in the new 1:7" barrel that I fitted to my BlueStar some time back. I can now get 1" groups at 100y with 77gr SMK bullets. The 1:10" would not let me shoot this heavy a bullet so I'm happy with the barrel swap
The same load groups 0.5" in my Hbar AR15 :shock:
Also I just tried my new (to me) PC4GR today and it is a hoot! BTW my XD40 mags worked perfectly in it other than the fact I had to hold them in place. I just need to drill an extra hole about an inch below the existing mag catch hole and they will work just fine in the Ruger Carbine. Same mags for the pistol and carbine without having to going the Glock or Berretta route, makes me happy
