Only a small shoot with friends but started well and stayed dry all day!

Dogs still full of beans after 3 drives!
The bag from this last drive. We put up far more birds than the guns shot. Again I was moaned at for not bringing a gun, (free for beaters) but I explained that running 7 dogs and 3 beaters was more than a handful.
The pups are 7 months and have taken to this like their mother did 3 years ago. The older pups are nearly 2 now and picking up birds they have flushed. I am so proud of my dogs. The little cocker starts her deer stalking training next Feb!

My next day will be the 27th I was supposed to do the 16th and had agreed but sadly my wife developed plans. The 27th will be our crimbo shoot so mince pies, booze (sloe gin) and cold smoked game birds for a picnic!
I am duck shooting tomorrow afternoon locally on my own patch of land!
