hey all...a new question for you,s ...is there a rule of thumb to load up a tumbler?..i just got one..i put 50 pieces of brass in it was filled about 2/3 of the way...i topped the drum up with media knowing when the brass fill with media it will leave room to tumble.. ive yet to check it..
i was just wondering what you,s all use for a guide?..

I start the empty (of cases) tumbler filled with media, adding handfulls of cases a bit at a time until I see the flow of cases slow slightly as they rotate through the media. Put the lid on and bake 'til done. (~3 hrs)

2/3 full of media is the way to go.Then add your brass. DAN>>>

Just dump 'em in. Too many, and it will be obvious. Makes more noise, and can scuff the cases.
Sounds like you have a good mix going, you'll be impressed.
Don't forget to clear the flash holes when done
