Looking at Fobus holsters. Can anybody tell me what a paddle holster is, as compared to a belt holster? No belt needed, paddle slips in the pants or something different? Any recommendation of one over the other.Thanks.
The paddle slips into your pant waistband as opposed to a belt holster that is threaded onto a belt. You generally still need a belt however to support the weight of the holstered firearm. The biggest advantage of the paddle is convienence. I use and like both. A suggestion is the buy the Blackhawk CQC holster as it comes with both and you can decide on your preference.
