Sad isn't it, a friends wife works as a doggie nurse, and has stated many times her work is far more important than the doctors and nurses in a hospital. Like WTF, I wonder if her tune would change if it was one of her children dying or starving.

Judging by what a trip to the vet costs I have no doubt that many of them think this way.
 
The truth is right in front of everyone and yet they choose not to know it. People will side with a woman and an internet petition vs people directly effected and benefiting from African hunting. Sadly the ones that are affected most are the African people.

This stupidity reminds me of the Ontario spring bear hunt closure back in the 1990s. The campaign that plastered Winnie the Poohs on billboards in Toronto, lobbying that brought the beginning of insults to rural Ontario. About the same time the proposed railway to ship Toronto's physical garbage into rural Ontario was but another demonstration of the arrogance and selfishness in those of that mindset.
