For collectors of Enfield rifles who use, or want to use A.J. Parker/Parker Hale micrometer sights, we've added the following to the MKB.
Model PH-5A, PH-5B, PH-5C, 8/53, 11/47 "Twin Zero" (click here and go to bottom of page 2)http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?p=807290
The 93 picture photo montage covers many of the various sights that A.J. Parker/Parker Hale offered over the years for Enfields, from the No.1 SMLE through to the No.4 DCRA 7.62mm conversions. The Model 8/53 is interesting in that it requires no special tools and slips right over any Enfield No.4 rifle that's equipped with the Mk1 micrometer type rear sight.
Also in the photo montage is device that I don't believe is manufactured by A.J. Parker/Parker Hale. Employing a set of right angled mirrors, it's a Model SM11 GA EME64 Aim Corrector, which also slips over any Enfield No.4 rifle equipped with the Mk1 micrometer type rear sight, to permit an instructor to simultaneously view a student shooter's "sight picture".
