That is not what he is stating, I believe.

A pointer to take away from this is that our words DO have consequences.

As a note, I definitely do not subscribe to many things he states or believes, but I found his observations about how "normal" people are made into "monsters" is demonstrable in many instances in history.

Think of the Romans and the Carthaginians. Or the Turks and the Armenians, etc, ad nauseum ...

Our spoken words when turned into Propaganda against "those" people, can go quite a ways to creating a sense of superiority over others, and to help us dehumanize the enemy... or who the State tells us is the "enemy".

I believe we need much more that words to lead us over the brink to genocide and murder, of course, but it's the first step.

Anyways, take from it what you will, I just found it interesting. :)
