Does any one know of a good site for calling directions and for decoy layouts.

Been skunked twice and would not like to repeat this.

Thank you for your time.

There was a good article in Ontario angler and hunter I think last month. I am not much of a goose hunter, but you need to clarify were they coming in and flaring of were they passing you by ect.If you call geese and they cant hear you they wont come.I goose hunter I have talked to waits till the geese have used a field 3 times then sets up and calls them that night or morning when ever they were coming in.

Try flocknockers.com. It has all the info you need about goose hunting. You'll have every question answered there, some serious waterfowlers with addiction problems..haha.

The number one rule is to be where the birds want to be. Two days scouting for each day hunting is often the rule. Decoys and calling will work well then as you will be where the geese want to be.

definatly second the scouting thing. if you are not in a place they want to be or are not even passing by it doesn't matter what you sound like or how you have your decoys. Find the field they are in and then set it up in a horseshoe, they will want to land into the wind and make it so they will want to land right in the horseshoe. Keep it out from the edges they don't want to land too close to the fencerows

Also helps as well to set up in the same area of the field they were the night before. We got kinda busted a wee bit when we ran into 3 other hunters who had gotten there before me and my buddy. They had most of their decoys out already, but set up at the other end of the field. I had mentioned that they were at the other end the last 2 nights. But they didnt wanna change the set up, so we set up with them. Low and behold day light hits and all the geese wanted to land at the other end. But they were doing ALOT of circling but were confused. So they still landed at the other end. Well we were able to get 9 geese and 35 ducks. I was positive we could have limited out on geese as well if we were at the other end. But oh well!!
