A London Colt with a story.

Cool gun in great shape and great story behind it. I love a good story. I have a few Colts and have always been intrigued with the British/commonwealth connection. Was in London a couple weeks ago and just happened to walk by 14 Pall Mall, Colt's old London offices. They are now crazy expensive condo's or something similar. Nonetheless its cool making these connections to the past. Of somewhat interesting note(at least to me :) ) not too far way from the Colt office we also came across Chopin's London residence purely by chance, which was fun in that we visited his grave at Pere-Lachaise cemetery in Paris just a few months earlier.

Needless to say there are some very cool gun collections in Europe.

I was surprised to see so many excellent wheel locks, matchlocks, etc. in places like the Louvre and Rijksmuseum. You'd expect that stuff in Les Invalides, but it pleases me that the Euros still treat these things like the art they are.
