It must be the early winter, grey daylight. Totally reminded me of the movie scene where Tom is commanded to take Bernie for a walk in the woods.
"You gotta put one in the Head!"
Watch the movie, its a good 'un.
Rewind a bit.
The rig got released and I'm heading home.
Seems as though the previous occupant left me a freebie.
I've always hated squash.
So i called it Bernie...
On the way home I took the time for a walk in the woods.
F & W model 41 RF. Actually a 41 Long RF, but the H & C kit in 41 Rimfire is the only option for fodder.
Very benign is a good term. If the weather holds I'll do a chrono test upon getting home.
Not much as far as a hydrodynamic shock wave. The bullets that came with the kit were a heeled RN, so not even a fat meplat to help out.
I picked up 100 bullets from a member here...they are a more 'terminal profile' in that they have a good meplat.
If only I was brave enough to switch to Unique.
Logically 41 RF Long should be a touch hotter than 41 RF.
But such a cute Lil wheelgun, hate to chance it. Precious little info on 41 RF long to work with.
The terminal effects afterward.
