I'm Dave. Live in Maple Ridge, 20 minutes (well, used to be. Damn traffic) east of Vancouver.
Found this site via a blog I read, and figured that a Cdn gun forum has got to be ok in my books! Especially the anti liberal parts.

Shooting interests:
I used to be an avid hunter. Will be again one day. Love "plinking with my Remington 700. Bipod rest, 3-9x56 scope. Used to be a good sniping rig, but too many rounds through her. Time for a new barrel. 3 .22's. Got the wife into plinking. She loves it (yea team!) and an old 1911 model '92 winchester in 25-20
I used to belong(many moons ago) to a now defunct (thanks to politically correct municipal bureaucrats :mad: ) pistol club in Burnaby. Really enjoyed showing up some of the "seasoned" pistol shooters. My fav was a Dan Wesson in .44 with a 10" barrel. 6/6 almost guaranteed! Let these IPSC have their 9mm and
.45 self loaders!
Still like to pack up the weapons and head into the hills for an afternoon of burning powder. I keep thinking I should join a club or range though.
