I've read that, when Stephen Harper is in power, he is planning to introduce new spin on gun control. He said that he has a plan to shut down Federeal Gun Registry, and introduce tougher sentences for offense concerning loaded restricted/ or prohibitied firearm.
I kinda get the gist of what he is saying, but is there greater scope, or implication to this proposal than how I understand them?
Give me some feedback, cause this gun control issue during election time is driving me nuts. Every single politician out for vote, is putting his/her opinion on this, and frankly, it scares the #$&@ out of me...
