Hey Guys,

I have had this pair of Enfield No 2's for sometime now and I thought that I would post them as one of them might be leaving shortly.

Anyways the first is a 1934 No 2 Mk 1 marked RAF and the Second is a 1935 No 2 Mk 1. Both still have the full hammer and original Grips. They both are not FTR'd and have the original finish.

Just a couple of questions. For the RAF one, are these rare? Were there many that were marked like this? I have seen .455's marked RCAF but never a No 2 Mk 1. Since this is marked RAF how much more would this one be worth than the unmarked one I have?

As for the second one (1935) I only have one question and that is why doesn't it have any markings along the side like the 1934 in front of the cylinder? There are no faint markings so it has not be refinished over.

Thanks for any help and enjoy the picks.

I don't know about the RAF numbers but Canada purchased 350 1937 No.2 Mk.I revolvers for the RCAF (and they are so marked on the backstrap). These RCAF marked revolvers sell in the $300 - $350 range.
