I know very little about Tokarev TT-33 pistols, but I've wanted one ever since I saw the iconic photograph of the Soviet officer leading an assault during World War Two.
I've had a 1943 arsenal-refurbished model for some time. It's been polished, re-blued, and is fitted with black grips. Recently I acquired a second example which is dated 1945. It has not been polished, or re-blued, and is fitted with reddish-brown grips.
I'd love to find out more about the 1945 model, so if you know anything about TT-33s I'd like to hear from you...
