My new centerfire acquisition: ( in .308 Win )
Rem 700 action trued
Kreiger 24 '' barrel.
The rifle was assembled and tweaked by Gerard Gaulin in Québec.
The muzzle brake blends perfectly with the barrel but it is screwed as te muzzle is threaded.
I am thinking of putting in a more tactical stock ( McMillan or Foundation ), but not certain yet.

Yes I also like the stock. That is why I am hesitating to put it in a more tactical stock. Rod, you are right, it shoots as good as it looks. :)

6MT you're so right about the bolt handle !!
OK guys you are convincing me to keep it in this stock. It is quite good looking and Mr. Gaulin fitted everything ( bedding etc. )

Beauty!! Let's see what it does at the range.

The Lada and Yugo are more advanced than the Model T, but no one admires them (or wants one).

Firearms can be both tools and like works of art -- and everything in between. It's possible to admire a great looking rifle and shoot it too. It's not necessarily one or the other.

Very nice unit, Gilbert. I have practically it's twin in 6mm Remington.
Bill Leeper built it, and it is a good one! I don't have the brake, though.
You will enjoy that rifle. :) Dave.
