So I think we can all agree that we aren't seeing as many or as consistent a number of reviews for the various black rifles being released. I had my Stag 10 in .308 out today so I thought I'd share the experience for new owners.
The rifle is a real fun gun. I have a Bushnell LTRSi 4.5 - 18x44on top. We could only shoot out to 100m. which was not a challenge for this platform. Got it zeroed in and we bounced between steel silhouette (which my son loved) and some paper targets.
I taught my son how to zero so we burned through quite a bit of ammo just hitting dirt before finally walking it onto paper.
In total we shot
40 150 gr Federal American Eagle
35 150 gr Winchester soft point
5 168 gr Hornady amax
The only issues we had were cycling issues but I'm 80% certain it was the magazines. Seemed maybe the spring was catching which stopped the follower from.getting the round high enough to catch the bolt. Even then the rifle fire flawless by single shot on the charging handle.
Next time I'm out I'll go for grouping.
