I bought a box of 500 cast bullets from the bullet barn a while ago, when I got them they weren't what I was looking for, is it possible for me to buy a mold and melt these bullets and use them to make new ones?

Yup....make a mental note of how hard they are and when you do melt them down again you can add tin to harden more or add lead to soften more.

If the bullets drop out of the mould at the right dia. for your bore you don't have to size them.....I find it better to size them even when they drop at the right dia. as I use a lube/sizer...so I size, lube and crimp on the gas check all in one pass through the sizer.....one method to try if you don't want to size is this.....using your case cleaner.....a) get 500ml nalgene bottle w/lid b) fill with 1/3 steel BB's,1/3 case cleaning media,1tsp of dry moly c) close lid tightly and put in tumbler/cleaner along with existing media and any cases you want cleaned and tumble for 1 hour. and voila...beauti slippery bullets!!
