Any of you serious 303 brit cast shooters open up the inside of you sizing dies? I seen to be getting some serious run out problems when I seat my .313 bullets in my brass that has been resized to .3095.

You are probably also sizing the bullet down as a result of the case throat being too tight. You need an expander button in the .311 - .312 range. If you can't get one by ordering it an option is to get an 8mm button and polish it down to the diameter you want using a drill press and varying grits of emory paper.

For accurate cast bullet loads I use Redding Bushing neck sizer and in-line seating dies on my Co-ax press, brass also lasts much longer as I do not have to bell(flare) case mouths.

I use a Lee collet die to neck size and a Lyman M die to flare the neck before seating the bullet. The M die not only flares the neck but expands the lower neck slightly. Only problem I've had is on some brands of brass the Lee die doesn't resize enough and bullet is not held tightly. ( Can be pushed deeper into case). I have some cases that I've reloaded more than 20 times. This is with mid range cast bullet loads. All my 303 Br bullets are sized .314.

Get a Lee collet die, easy to adjust the tension for cast bullets. Also if you'd like to modify the collets slightly you won't need to expand the case neck after sizing. I grind down the very end of the collet fingers (dremel, about the thickness of a check) and polish the ground off area. Then when I size the case I'm left with a case that is sized to what I want and the mouth of the case is slightly flared for easy cast bullet seating.

I have a lee collet die. I keep hearing about these bushing dies, how do they work? Isn't sizing the neck & then using a body die the same thing as full length sizing?

With an in-line seater you don't need any M-die or flare at all, flaring and then closing the flare will ruin your brass much quicker.

Vickerman, Meacham, RCBS(call them to make sure that the .313" will work)...the first 2 may seem expensive but all you need is another collet to change cals. and are great if you want to do diff. cals. Redding may make them as well(called comp. seaters). The Forster seater that I have was not precise enough to seat cast in the 30/06 without flaring.

I know it was probably just blind luck; (blind luck getting the neck size just right I mean) but I'm using a .308Win sizer to re-size/de-cap the .303Br cases from my wife's #4. It squeezes the neck just enough for a good grip on the .311" bullets I'm loading. And the neck never even touches the neck-sizing "button" on the downstroke.
I've tried it with a couple of brands of .303 brass, and they all seem to work for me.
YMMV

(you'll need to adjust the length so that most of the neck gets sized; but that's pretty minor and lots of gun shops (and gun nutz) have spare .308 sizers kicking around, so you can pick one up for way less than the cost of a neck bushing alone.
