A question for experienced and informed BC hunters......

I know a place where they roam around like cattle, but only accessible on floats, and hunt on foot or from a boat there after..........A friend of mine used to run some sort of wilderness tours there and told me he has seen more than 20 bears in one day and had seen some in the well over 10 foot class. He said there were so many bears in some areas that they were a continuous nuisance and he had to move some of his lunch and night camp sites as there were just too many bears for comfort. To his knowledge these bears had never been hunted and acted like it..........He said he would have loved to shoot several of them but not a BC resident, and not good for his business...........I will have to do some more research and some more flying shortly and check them out.
