Seems I have inherited a box of nobel medium load shotgun powder. It started out life as an 8# box and there is not much missing,my question is- is this still a powder that someone could use or is it fertilizer for the back lawn.

Medium load shotshell powders usually make pretty good light load handgun powders.
Many many years back I recall my dad having Nobel powder in no 2 or 1 for rifle and #60 for shotgun.
When I cleaned out his stuff I tossed it since it was for components they don't even use in shotgun any more plus it was super old and I still use powder out of the 60's but this was before that I think.
