Hello dealers

I have a question regarding what the process is for importing into Canada, a rifle model that does not have an FRT # here yet. Say for exapmle, I want one of those new stealth desert recon bullpup bolt guns. does the first example that comes in have to go to the RCMP for classification. I'm just wondering how long it can take to bring a new rifle model into the Canadian marketplace.

I know you are looking for specific answers, but you have two issues...1) Canada does not have a great track record for allowing bullpup ANYthing into Canada, and 2) you are facing the issue of whether or not the department of state will issue them a license to export such a firearm.

Questar is a site sponsor and their specialty is importing this sort of thing. I would suggest you give those guys a call and discuss it on the phone. They have the most experience of anyone at knowing what can and cannot enter Canada, or knowing if it can leave Obamica legally.
