Hello CGN, I just got a reloading set up and have a question before I start. I live in a high humidity area and I am wondering if i can use a nail polish seal rounds at the neck to stop any possible moisture from entering the round and ruining them, I know the swiss used wax to achieve this and the Russians used a lacquer, but I dont have much of these around and my fiance has ample amounts of nail polish I could "borrow"
Thanks for the input!

Google is your best friend for finding information, that being said in over 46 years of reloading I have never sealed any of my reloads.

But I do use clear nail polish as locktight on my scope mounts etc. (and I ask permission to use "her" nail polish)

Sealing primers, should you seal? How to do it on the cheap

From what I can find most people are saying what you are don’t bother with it it neither helps nor hinders. Thanks for the help, and the video!

I store ammo in zip top freezer bags . These are labelled and put in airtight military ammo cans. One cailiber per can.

If high humidity is a concern, put a silica desiccant bag in the can.
