A question on Moisin Nagant sniper ore size

Just wondering what the average Moisin Nagant sniper rifle has for bore size? Where they .308 or did they vary all the way up to.312 ?

The three variant I have all have bang on .310 bores.

Yep, .310 ish. The other Soviet 7.62's are a similar diameter as well. (X39, X25)

Mosin bores seem to be all over the place!

I'm shooting the same .311 and .312 bullets out of mine that I feed my .303's.

Best way to know is to slug your bore.

So is that just bore or all the way into the grooves. If just bore are you shooting .311 or larger?

Mine slugged to .309. I shoot Barnes TX .308s and it's more accurate than me. I'm working on that.

Every Mosin I have shoots better with a .312 bullet.
