A question on rem chokes

Hey all,

I have a Remy 870 Tactical and was wondering if there is a Rem choke that I can replace the breecher choke with. I am looking to protect the threads when its removed and retain its full cylinder bore.

Any help out there?

I would imagine they would, my question is do they make one in a full
cylinder bore that will sit flush with the end of the barrel?

Yep, flush and extended one, in cylinder bore and all constriction avaible!

LOL - it's funny, because I bought my 870 with a turkey barrel and choke, wanted to use it for 3-gun, so bought the breecher choke for the exact reason you posted here - to protect the threads and keep a cylinder bore and crown (and the world goes 'round).

The 870 has an infinite selection of chokes, you'll have no problems finding a cylinder. I'd recommend one that extends beyond the end of the barrel (like the breecher, but meeker profile), to protect the barrel end, too.
