I constanly see questions asking for good field holsters. I own two that qualify. One is the Bianchi Model 84 and the other a Kramer Flap Explorer. As much as I like leather, my opinion is the Bianchi Model 84 wins for two reasons: the M84 is affordable and there is no long waiting period. I seldom recommend holsters in other than leather but in this case the Bianchi Model 84 gets my thumbs up! What is your choice for a good field holster? Regards, Richard :D

I'm using a flapped Mernickle cross-draw for my Ruger Super Redhawk and an Uncle Mike's flapped nylon hip holster for my 4" .357.

They both keep the bush crud from getting to my revolvers.
