Now go put a pop can on that rock and see if you can hit it. With the air you have for this video, I bet you smack it inside 5 rds.

thanks guys. this is a fabulous spot for shooting. I feel blessed to live where I do because of the availability of shooting areas.

Jerry I have hit many a pop can off that rock but my buddies wont go put them up for me any longer. I guess they have figured me out on that one. LOL.
 
Dude, you have a crazy high zoom on your camera.

I tried to make a video of me shooting a silhouette target at 1k and at 15x zoom I couldn't even see it.

Grats on the good shooting. 7mmRM is my favorite long range cal by far, cuts through the wind like butter. 7WSM should be very similar I imagine.
 
Nice video, I love that cartridge, but do not have such a nice place to shoot mine :(

I especially like that you caught the 'swirl track' of the incoming bullet. Very nice

thanks again guys, the camera I am using is a sony dcr-sr68. It has a 60x zoom but I dont max it out as it gets fuzzy at max. It is a decent camera for the time being but I may go to an HD camera if I can find one with a similar zoom.

For optics, I am using a Nightforce 8-32x56 with npr2 reticle on my 7wsm. My wife's rifle wears a Sightron 8-32x56 with FCR reticle. both are amazing scopes. I also use a Leupold Mk4 on my 308.
