I’ve been shooting competitively since the 1980’s and spotting scopes are kinda like second nature to me. Like anything else in this world , you get what you pay for.....
I bought a Bushnell Legend Tactical Elite Series Spoting scope from a board sponsor Bullseye in London , ON...thanks KenT! But (never start a sentence with a conjunction, who cares, eh?) I was always annoyed with the factory supplied scope cases and lens covers and all their supplied chinsy so-called protection that came inside the box. Until.... I picked up one of these babies! I just had to have one from triadtactical dot com in Kansas City, KS, USA, fast shipping I do have to add.
Long story short, I’m a big fanboy now.....
Lemme start with the installation, there are no instructions, one just has to use intuition just like a new smartphone....
Slide off the factory black cover, you know, the cheesy one that covers up and disallows you the use of the three accompanying picatinny rails....

And then slide on the Triad Tactical unit. Build quality is fzcking amazing and sure beats any Xhinese Shzt I’ve owned in three decades....
Now it’s time for the walk around.... NO Fzcking Velcro to pick up grass and dirt and burrs in the bush. When the zipper is fully deployed and opened up, these hooks easily go to work. No more fzcking around with cheap construction

The three picatinny rails unscrew from your scope with a small flathead screw driver and reattach with the provided Allen head LONGER screws and Allen key. There are holes built into the cover and they will ensure that there will be no fraying material or loose ends
The top rail is so neatly interfaced with the objective lens cap or cover. Most lovingly detailed. I’m in love....

Examine how the side flaps are secured open ...No Velcro anymore!

The next picture shows the opening for my quick release plate. Examine the hot felled seams...no loose stitching or edges to unravel. This cover is a keeper!

And finally with the Feisol ball head QR plate attached , I’ve mounted this entire unit back on my PIG 0311 or modified SLIK 700 DS Pro that ShadowTech dot com sells. Or you can shop from CGN board sponsor Nordic Marksman.

All I can say is that I waited for many years to obtain a cover this great. It’s worth the $70 USD plus the mailing but honestly you ALWAYS need more PRS Swag and gear from the Triad Tactical dot com folks....and they ship to Canada. What’s not to like?
Quit drinking and smoking and now you can afford this Shzt!!
Hope you enjoyed this report!
Cheers, Barney
