Can this be built with existing techology? An adjustable power scope with the following features:
- built-in laser range finder
- built in temperature and humidity sensing
- user programmable aiming recticle/dot that locates itself in the field of view from a combination of automatically sensed info (range, temp, humidity) and user input. User input could be wind speed, bullet weight, bullet speed, bullet BC, etc. A multi button interface built into the scope would be used to set the user selectable inputs. All information could be displayed on the periphery of the field of view.

I know scopes exist that allow the shooter to adjust their aim based on calculators/tables and "spider web" type reticles. Question is would the ability to have everything needed to make the calculation in the scope be usefull?
Is it too much for a light weight concept or would the scope weigh 10 pounds? Is it a situation where the existing technology is the way to go. Is making it complex a non starter for most end users?
Thanks for any input you may have.

it would be big and could fail for a number of reasons. there is something a bit like this done by one of the major european brand but not as sophisticated. its was expensive and big and ugly and did not sold well
