a scope for T97

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a scope to mount on my T97 and i need some recommendations.
I got the Scorpio picatinny rail.

I appreciate and admire the T97.ca FTU & LHG projects, but that's not the course i want to take at this moment.

I'm looking for something pretty low (height-wise, as possible) since it will be sitting on the carrying handle.
Not sure if i want a scope or a red dot, so any suggestion is cool, I'm just looking for ideas since this is my first rifle, please don't be shy.
also, since this is my first, i am looking for something with a lower price tag.

I would suggest any 1-4 x 24, with a set of low rings. It's what I am planning on as a set up. (Even when I put the FTU on). Budget on your optics will completely narrow your choices. You'll get what you pay for. For a lower cost check out the Burris Fullfield Tac30.

Leupold AR mod 1 1.5x4 with the firedot reticule, if you want to pay less get it without the firedot. These 1" scopes weight a lot less than the 30mm scopes.
