I bought a higher end rifle from CGS.
They shipped the first business day.
A week later it was shown by CP as still being in the Newbury post office.

They went to the post office and was told it left that same Monday on the truck.

Definitely lost.

Vigorous inquiries were made.

Eventually Canada Post found it and, in their infinite wisdom, sent it back to Newbury post office instead of delivering it to me.

CGS picked it up and offered to hand deliver it to me, a 7-hour return trip.

I demurred, suggested courier ground service, and they drove it a half hour to a courier drop-off..

They could have so easily sent it to me by Expedited Parcel again, but no.

They wanted to be certain I receive it without more problems, which were not of their making.

I've always said it's not whether or not something goes wrong, because it will invariably happen at some point, but instead it's how the company deals with it. And these guys seem to have went above and beyond.
