I think I must be coming down with something, handled a new SV up at Thompson Mountain today and liked it. Even worse, it fit my hand and the safeties didn't piss me off. Cost the owner $7000 with mags. Thankfully I don't have any spare cash right now.

Trying to buy a townhouse, 7k on a firearm would put me in divorce territory.

And thanks to my friggin jaw I didn't make it up to the range today to play with the SV again. dammit. Oh well, another time.
I don't like the safeties on the CZ pistols at all, the TS is a nice gun, but the safeties just get in my way. At least on this gun, there was no issue, and there are more options for safeties on the 1911 guns anyhow.

hahahaa no, no it wouldn't be. I said that once about 20 handguns ago

will be the last pistol you ever buy.

Says a guy with a single stack 1911, hahahahahahahaha. If I'm gonna go this route one day, it'll be with a real gun either SV or STI...

Congratulations on finally beginning the great climb towards true appreciation of the Man Gun.

May you one day have the fortune to look upon europellet guns with no more than grudging disdain.

Congratulations .. I hope to join you next year in open. so tired of trying to hold the TS together with a bag of parts..

I didn't say arriving...I said beginning.

You'll eventually get a true 1911, probably a Wilson, and then you'll look at SV 2011s and say "meh".
