A sub-sonic .22 magnum . . .

i would be surprised if they were. a subsonic 22wmr (in standard bullet weights) performance would be very easily duplicated in 22lr which is much cheaper.

the only way it could perhaps be worthwhile is if they upped the bullet weight quite durasticly, to the tune of 60-70 grains total weight. it probably wouldn't stabilize, so accurace would be pathetic unless you used a custom, faster twist barrel.

there is a 60 grain 22LR available, and it too generally requires a faster twist to be accurate.
