I looked but didn't see this covered so forgive me if I simply missed it.
I asked a qustion in the general forum and it was quickly answered. However, several other members were clearly interested in the topic and a conversation ensued. A moderator came in and said the question had been answered and closed the thread to further comments.
Here's my question; Why close the thread? If members want to talk about it, what possible harm is being done by allowing them to? What is the point to shutting people down for merely talking about a topic? Am I missing something?
