I have to say how pleased (and surprised) I am with Nikon Canada.
I was recently at the range sighting in for the ammo I would be using on my moose hunt when the side focus gave out on my Nikon Buckmaster scope, as the scope was less than a year old I figured it would be covered by warranty until I got home and couldn't find my receipt, so then I thought I was screwed. I contacted Nikon about the scope and the fact that I couldn't find my receipt, the guy I spoke with told me to send it in and they would see if it could be repaired but I would possibly have to pay some or all the cost.
Monday (yesterday) 2.5 weeks after I sent the scope to Nikon I received a call from them (Nikon Canada) asking for my address and informing me that they replaced the scope with a new one and would be shipping the new one by courier and I should have it within two days, and all that without as much as a question from them about the old scope.
In my book that's service especially considering there was no receipt to show when I bought it or even if I was the original purchaser.
CAN'T BEAT THAT, my hat's off to Nikon Canada.
UPDATE(Today is Wednesday) I got a call Monday from Nikon telling me that it would take a few days to get my scope but yesterday around 4:30pm I had a knock on my door and opened it to find the Purilator guy standing there holding a package from Nikon, that was less then 24 hours after the lady from Nikon called informing me that they were sending the scope, they flew it in, They also sent warranty info which I didn't see with the original scope, this scope is actually covered for 30 years.
I don't know about anyone else but I'm as amazed as #### with the service and the speed of service from Nikon
