just bought this trail camera about a month ago and last weekend was the first time I put it to use... that stuff you see me pouring is a product called buck jam... its basically a corn flavoured liquid mineral lick that the deer ( and bear) seem to like.. I think I got 175 pictures in one week.. only used 10% of the batteries too!!!

so far lots of does and fawns and the odd young buck notice how much more ragged the bucks are compared to the does?.. thats something I would attribute due to some of the bucks running themselevs ragged last fall( there are one or two little guys there look closely) this is an old trail that leads to an old dilapidated homestead cabin( left side of picture) on the edge of a field( right side of picture)... we plant soybean, oats and winter wheat there.. currently its just grass and dirt

enjoy the pictures!!! and I will try to post new pics every week so we can see the antler progress on some of the bucks and maybe catch some newborn fawns( any minute now.. you'll see a few does are bulging at the seams)

I recognized from the pictures you took that you got the same camera that I just bought last month. Moultrie I-40, I just put mine on the field this weekend, I hope I get nice pics like you got

Its the exact one I am looking to buy after doing a bit of research on them. I've posted this before, but here it is again, for those of you looking for trail cam reviews, this site test a lot of them. The I-40 gets a good review. See for yourself. They also give some tips and tricks.

Interesting ! I really should get one of these, if anything to find out what's out there (have a pretty good idea when looking at tracks, but no pics as of yet).
