Unfortunately our 12ga products do not work in the Orion Pistol, our 12ga hulls are too long. Our products are meant to fire from an open choke shot gun only so if your gun is an open choke then no it will not damage your barrel. The actual bearbanger and flare inserts that expel out of the hull are a cardboard paper type insert. I hope these have answered your questions.
