A1 or A2 handguards

I used the search feature , but couldn't come up with definitive answers . So , I'll ask here.....

I recently received my DA 5.56 (M-16 clone) rifle and am in the process of cleaning and oiling it , but now have 2 questions :

1. Will the A1 or A2 hand guards fit on this unit ? The stock hand guards are not nearly as pretty as the A1 or A2's . I realize I may need to Dremel .
2. Other than a WTB on the EE , who has A1 or A2 hand guards ? Preferably , in Canada .

What does the front handguard cap look like ?
If it a triangle one you can use an A1 , if it's a round one like the cq311 from the "80's" then a A2 or magpul handguard will fit , the magpul may need some fitting from what I've heard.

I'd just like to know where you can get A1 furniture in Canada without having to buy someones SP1.
