A1 to A2 handguards - easy?

Well I've swapped from A2 to A1 triangular guards with no issues.

Should be 100% inerchangeable, A2s were designed to be able to replace the others..

I assume the front cap must be changed as well.

Not always. Many of the round handguards have a relief cut to fit the triangular front cap.

Here's another one - Can I use a full auto lower parts kit to assemble a semi lower?

Well, you can't use the auto sear, but I believe you can use the trigger and hammer and all the other parts.

I don't even think the auto sear would mount because there is no hole for the sear pin in a semi lower.

I was just going to ask this Question. I'm planning on Buliding a 20in "Herritage" Ar-15 And want it to look "Nam Style" to Pay homage to my Dad's time in Nam. Sure he used a M-14 while there, but those Triangular guards just look so cool to me.
