A1A 10 rd mag COAL question

So you guys out there with these mags that roll your own , do you you seat them at the norm 2.800 or do you push it out further as i noticed there is some room . If so are any of you getting better results or its not making a difference. Tomorrow I'm going to roll some up but thought Id ask first.

I've tried playing with OAL but have not seen any differences. I seat to 2.82" with 168 BTHPs

I usually reload to factor specs, which is 2.80 over all length. There might be room, but remember that semi's are machines, designed to work with components built within a certain set of specifications. If you seat a longer depth, the gun might no function properly.

Are you running one of those Sadlak notched pistons? My understanding is that without those, anything over a 168 is gonna be beating up the oprod...

Yes I'm running a groved piston. According to Sadlak they say it's good for loads using 147-175gr bullets.
