A2 Front Sight / Handguard Combinations

Building an AR with either a 14.5" or 16" length barrel. I want to use an A2 front sight and a M-LOK handguard.

Just wondering who has done a similar build and what they would recommend. Would love to see some pictures of the finished product.

I'm not a fan of the guards that recess the sight base.

Any insight is appreciated.

Why not go with a Magpul option?

14.5" barrel with a midlength gas system. Throw on whatever handguard you want and you're set. For barrel look at BCM, they do alot of 14.5 mid length options, I have an EAG carbine and love it, longer sight picture and reduced recoil impulse of the midlength system, with the A2 front post.
