A2 Front sight install..

So I'm putting together my first retro-ish upper "build" and did not foresee this...:rolleyes:

Have the A2 style front sight/gas block already. Picked up a new to me upper/barrel off the EE... cool.

Problem:

The taper pin holes are off by probably less than a mm, but enough that the pin will not even start.

What are my options here (before I do something stupid LOL) ??

So usually the FSB is drilled while its on the barrel for the pins, getting it to line up may take some "extra" work, you may just have to make the best of it.

If it was me, I'd probably send it to someone with some maching experience and tools. If the holes were somewhat aligned then maybe, but if the pins won't start and the holes are that far off, it's alot more work than some filing.
