A4 Style AR and an M4forgery

I am looking to get an AR, or better yet more than one eventually. The price will only let me buy so much at a time though. Right now I am trying to decide which I should get first. I really like the A4 20 inch rifle, but I also like the M4 style too. I was thinking of getting one for the late spring early summer, and the other by the fall perhaps, and then going for a good optic next year.

I was looking at RRA for the A4 flat top. Does anyone have one?
Is there a 'better' manufacturer of an A4 style AR? or a better deal?
I was thinking of getting it and the removable sight/handle for now. In the far future perhaps I can upgrade to a decent optical sight.

I was thinking of one the M4s by STAG. Same story with buying the removable sight/handle until such a time as my wallet recovers enough to get a fair optic.

Seems like I might be asking for a lot of info. Maybe I should start by asking about the A4 only, or just have everyone sort me out if these are fair choices?

In the meantime, I just go and fondle my C7 at work.

I was in the same boat as you. After a few years of collecting parts I completed both an M-4A1 clone and a M-16A4 clone. My personal favorite makes are Colt, Stag and LMT. I am sure Bushmaster, RRA and Armalite will work for you too.

Keep searching the EE. You will find what you need.

My M-16A4 clone is a Colt and my M4-A1 clone is an LMT.
