AA922 mag issue

Hey folks, I know this has been an on going conversation for this mag, AA922, in the 10/22. I'm using the ARCHANGEL AA556R stock kit and am having mag release issues. it seems that the front of the mag gets stuck, the release seems to go far enough forward and the back of the mag is loose.... just not releasing from the front as easy as I've seen on some videos, actually it takes some serious massaging to get it to release... anyways I know about the little cut mod for the mag... but I'm just not sure that is the issue... any help on a fix would be great ...

if you notch the rear of the sleeve, it will fit regular 10-22s, or use a trigger wrap around mag release, notch like so:
