AA's vs Top guns???

i can get a flat of each for $40+taxes. i dont reload but id likely save the hulls to trade for loaded shells or something.

anyways, which ones should i get? AA super sports or federal top guns??

when i take the thrower out i shoot clays anywhere from 10-40 yards. i also want to use them for shooting blackbirds as well.

top gun have a paper base wad, and the winchester use plastic- i prefer the winchester brand, but alot of the newer ones have the crap aluminum outer base- not the best to reload, but winchester for me

If you can buy Winchester AA factory ammunition for the SAME price as Federal Top Gun buy all you can. Then PM the dealer's name and I'll buy what's left. AA is selling for around $58 at Le Barons and that's the cheapest I've seen it recently.

Are you possibly talking about Winchester Super Target? It's in the same price range as the Top Gun. The Super Target hulls are not the same as the AA target loads and not desired by reloaders.

Interesting. So that's why Top Gun smells like burnt cardboard when I shoot it.
