The Alberta International-Style Trapshooting Association (AISTA) Spring Opener is being held in Hinton on Sunday, May 26th. The competition will be shot under international rules on a wobble trap. Starts at 9:00 AM at the gun range 15 minutes east of Hinton. If you go with the intention to shoot, be sure to bring 24 gram loads, as they are in short supply everywhere this year (reloads are not permitted). 75 targets, plus a single-shot final for the top 6 shooters.
There are no bleachers, so spectators should bring folding chairs, protection from the sun, ear and mouth plugs (forgive me, but some need to be reminded).
