abby or mission gun club?

So i'm looking into joining one of these clubs and was wondering the pros and cons to each from othet members. I live in langley but the langley rod and gun doesnt allow magnums at their ranges.
 
Langley doesn't allow a lot of things.
Read the club rules at each, and make your decision based upon how you like to be told how to shoot.

I chose ABBY.
 
I'm a member at the abbotsford club and I really like it. I was gonna join mission but Abby was closer to me and I've heard alot more positive things about Abby.
 
I like Abby--everone I've met there is great so far. Slavex is the president and offers skills and drills nights for only $15. Relatively well maintained ranges and reasonable rates. Also, unlike some ranges, you don't need to have an official range officer present--you can be the only one there.
 
So i've read the info for Abby and it sounds like i have to go in and book a interview to get a membership? or at least thats what it sounds like...
 
ohh ok gotcha. On average how many people are usually there? Do you have to wait much? Ive never been to a range so im just a little curious
 
The most people I have seen there at one time is like 4 or 5 and I go on weekends and weekdays. I usually go to the 20m range and every time I'm the only one on the range. The other people are on the longer ranges. To get my interview I just emailed the guy who does the interviews and set one up.
 
Im a member at mission and will not be returning again way to many rules that take the fun out of shooting and to many grumpy people. from what i have heard about abby is the place to be!!! good luck
 
My brother and I just joined the Mission club. I live in Coq. I haven't been to Abby yet, so I cannot compare. People are great at the MRGC. They have 300 yard rifle range, hang gun range, skeet and trap (shotgun) range and a comfortable clubhouse. Doesn't seem to be overly busy.
 
Mission has a 300yd rifle range, and has really sweet skeet and cowboy action setups.

The speed steel events are awesome.

Abbotsford did a lot of improvements in the last year, and is very shooter friendly.

If you want longer range or cowboy...Mission.

If you want pistol, archery or general fun...Abby.
 
I didnt even wanna look into poco cause i hate going over that goddamn port man bridge or having to pay a dumb toll on the golden ears.
